It was a privilege for us to welcome Mr. Gary Blair from the Ulster Scots Agency to Clare PS on Tuesday. He came to present the Flagship Award to our snare drummers to acknowledge the amazing progress that each child has made since beginning to play the drum. Only 5 schools from across Northern Ireland have been awarded with this accolade. We owe credit to our wonderful drumming tutor Barney, who unfortunately was not available to attend the presentation. Gary was entertained with an impromptu performance by our P7 drummers who are at 'final tuning' stages in preparation for their leavers' assembly!
