Free Windows Licences for School Pupils
As Christmas approaches many people may be considering updating their computers and laptops, which can be an expensive operation with endless options. Microsoft Office is often viewed as a core programme and one we would recommend children are familiar with for word processing, PowerPoint etc. Many suppliers will try to sell this as an additional extra when you purchase a laptop or computer but this is not necessary. If you use your child's C2K username and password (this is the username they use to access the school computers) you can download Windows for free! The help sheet below has been produced by C2K and explains how to download the Windows Package. Please note your child does not have or need a C2K email address. Children in P4-7 hold their own C2K usernames and passwords. If you wish to double check a username or password please let your child's class teacher or Mrs Reid know and we will send this home with your child.
