On Monday 20th May 2024 we had the privilege of taking some of our P6 and P7 pupils on a long-awaited residential trip to Ganaway. On day 1 each group got straight into their first activities- Laser Tag in the forest and the Climbing wall. The sun shone over Ganaway and so it was only right to finish our first day with a beautiful dip in the sea. On day 2 our activities were a little different, with each group having lots of fun kayaking, whizzing down the zipline and practising our aim with some archery. We ended our final night in Ganaway with a campfire with some tasty smores, which went down a treat! We had time for one last activity before we departed Ganaway, the high and low ropes, which was not for the faint hearted, especially with it being much windier than the previous days! Well done to all the children for giving everything a go and conquering some fears! The pupils did everyone proud with their resilience, teamwork, determination and immaculate manners toward each other and all the Ganaway staff. All bedrooms passed our daily room inspections in each lodge and the children helped serve supper in the evenings and wipe down the tables after their meals.
