On Thursday 21st June we spent a most enjoyable at a very special school concert to mark Mrs Briggs' forthcoming retirement. This special 'Farewell Concert' offered a varied programme from both past and present pupils. A number of past pupils from Mrs Briggs' 37 years teaching career spoke of their fond memories of Mrs Briggs and their time in Clare. Children from every year group contributed to a wonderful programme of music, poetry and drama showcasing their various talents and skills. Mrs Briggs was also presented with a number of gifts from the children and parents of Clare Primary School. Mrs Bentley is also leaving us in Clare to take up a new position in Dromore Central Primary School, we were pleased to present her with some special gifts also. This was a very special evening and one which will be treasured for years to come. Special thanks to everyone who contributed to our concert and to Mrs Kelly and her catering team for the lovely supper which was served following the concert. Best wishes to Mrs Briggs and Mrs Bentley and we wish them health and happiness in the future.
