Rok from the Royal Institute of Science visited us today for an action-packed day of science, this event was funded by a successful application to the Edina Trust. Rok delivered a show to the whole school around the topic of food, we learnt about the digestion process in its entirety – there will be lots of interesting stories at home no doubt! P4-P7 had a question-and-answer session with Rok where they were able to find out a little bit more about the work of a scientist. Following this we hosted a ‘Community Show’ and it was lovely to see a good turn out of parents, grandparents, friends and younger siblings come along to enjoy the show. Thank you to Rok for such a memorable day!
