Success at NI Athletics Country Country Race

Huge congratulations to our cross country runners who competed at the Southern area cross country championships on Wednesday 1^st December. We were delighted to bring along a team of 6 girls, a team of 6 boys and 12 ‘fun runners’. Both teams finished 6^th overall. Our top boy runner was Freddie who finished 19th and our top girl runners were Jorja and Molly who finished 3^rd and 5^th consecutively. We were delighted to have two ‘top 5’ finishers and we are waiting to hear if Jorja and Molly have qualified for the Ulster Championships at Mallusk in February! Samuel finished an impressive 5^th in the fun run.

Results:

Boys’ Team – Freddie 19^th, Henry 24^th, Noah 26^th and Matthew 39^th (all from P5 and P6)

Girls’ Team – Jorja 3^rd, Molly 5^th, Faith 25^th, Jessica 38^th, Rebekah 39^th and Lucy 43^rd.

Fun Run – Samuel 5^th, Serena 12^th, Emma 13^th, Catherine 14^th, Shayla 15^th, Lilly 16^th, Sky 17^th, Faith 18^th, Hannah 19^th, Kaela 20^th and Sarah 21^st.
