Children were set the brief of coming to school prepared for a journey to a cold land as we celebrated World Book Day. All became clear as each class read ‘Once Upon A Penguin’ by Magda Brol. In this story Paco the penguin finds something unusual which takes him and his friends on an adventure of discovery all about books. Children had lots of fun sharing in the story and completing some activities surrounding books and reading.
