This uniform is available from the retailer, R. Davidson, in Portadown.

All items of clothing and footwear must be clearly labelled with your child’s name. They should be made aware of where to look for their name to increase independence in finding their own clothing. Coats and other winter clothing e.g. hat, scarf, gloves, welly boots etc. must all have names attached and if these items are sent to school we will assume that your child is confident in putting them on and taking them off independently. From experience we realise that if a lot of children have the navy school coat, embroidered with the Clare P.S. crest, it is difficult for a child to identify their own coat when it is hanging on a peg. It may be helpful if your child has a key-ring attached to their coat so that they can easily identify their coat. This school coat is not compulsory uniform – any colour of coat can be worn.

On designated PE days P4-& children may bring navy shorts and blue round neck (Clare PE t-shirt) to change into if desired, otherwise they may wear plain navy jogging bottoms (no logos), a blue polo-shirt with the school crest, a navy jumper/cardigan with the school crest and a pair of trainers (non marking soles).  In Term 1 and Term 2 on your child’s designated P.E. day full school uniform is not compulsory

Clare PE Round neck t-shirts with the school crest are available at Davidson’s clothes shop in Portadown. These are not compulsory but can help your child distinguish between the ‘uniform’ t-shirt and the ‘P.E.’ t-shirt. All items of clothing (uniform and P.E. kit) MUST BE CLEARLY LABELLED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME.

Term 3 - Please refer to Summer Uniform Information Opposite.. In term 3 P.E. shorts are not permitted to be worn as uniform.  If your child chooses not to wear summer uniform and continues to wear full school uniform then they must wear jogging bottoms on P.E. days – P.E. shorts should NOT be worn as uniform. Jogging bottoms and t-shirt may be worn on swimming day. Full school uniform must be worn if your child is attending an after-school activity, if this is not their designated P.E. day.
